Shibi Village is located on top of a very large rock cliff, hence its name. Shibi's Fairy Valley has a river that flows in between these rock cliffs, and as a result of many years of erosion, a distinctive river valley has formed. Amongst the local population, they are known as "water slides". You can both admire it from afar and play within it as well, and experience that pleasure. During seasons when the water volume increases in Shibi, be sure not to miss it! Fairy Valley's waters are quite safe though, so there's no need to worry much. However do remember to wear a pair of thick and sturdy pants, to avoid grinding any holes in them (this has actually happened before). It's reccomended that you get a guide to lead you around for all the attractions located within the Shibi area. This is for a couple of reasons: 1. it will prevent any instances of running into landslides or collapsed roads along the way, 2. some of the scenic spots are not easy to locate and you might get lost, and 3. you'll need a high level of driving skill.
