In your imagination, how should a Buddha Memorial Center look like? Buddhist towers and statues? Temple-like buildings? Yes, all of these exist within the Buddha Memorial Center, but not in the way you would envision it. On the way towards Fo Guang Shan, there's a fifty-meter tall Buddha statue that can be seen from far away. At dawn, clouds cover it, which gives the appearance that Buddha arrived riding on top of the clouds. The giant archway at the entrance is big enough to let a large charter bus to drive through. Remember to respect the main hall's exterior appearances; the interior is designed into a modern and lively shopping center, completely different from any other religious memorial centers. In order to let every visitor to better understand Buddhism there's a Buddhism history museum that features a permanent exhibition hall. 3D and 4D movie technology are utilized to introduce Buddhism.
