Tamsui ferry is located at the mouth of the Tamsui, on the right bank. In the colonial era, the ferry not only connected Bali to Tamsui, it also connected Shilin and Luzhou, but after Guandu Bridge opened, the need for ferry transportation lessened. The only ferry trip left now is the Tamsui to Bali trip. However, one of the must do's in Tamsui is to take the ferry. There's also a ferry that leads out to the Fisherman's Wharf from Tamsui as well. The ferry is an important transportation tool between Bali and Tamsui. The trip takes about 6 to 10 minutes, and the scene along the route can only be described as beautiful.  As the sun goes down at dusk, it paints the river gold, and at night the moon lights up the water surface. Both ways can appeal to the romantic inside of us. There are two or three different boat companies to chose from. The ticket prices are all around the same price, but round trip tickets are usually cheaper.
