The Taipei Fine Arts Museum, located in the Zhongshan District, is a stacked, squared-shaped, white building. In the past, it was once military headquarters for US troops, but nowadays it is Taiwan's first modern art gallery. As you enter the gallery is a nine-meter-tall hall. The content exhibited by the museum is mostly modern art, and the entire building is divided into six sections, including an exhibition hall, audio-visual room, library, fine arts classroom, and more facilities. The content displayed will be changed from time to time, with different content for every period. Arts-related publications will also be published periodically. Aside from the building's exhibits, there's also a large rest and leisure area located outside, such as sculpture garden, which is an ideal place for children to run and jump around. On holidays and weekends, activities may be held in the public plaza. If you get the chance, you can see many different performances. You may also refer to the museum's official website and see what interesting upcoming activities will be held. The museum is place that is suitable for both parent and child, so if you have free time, come and admire the art.
