Nanyang Food Street is located in New Taipei City's Zhonghe District, near Nanshijiao and Hwa Xia Institute of Technology. Since the 1970's, many ethnic Myanmar Chinese have gathered here, selling Thai-Burmese snacks. Many signs and price tags are written in the Burmese language, thus forming a very unique community. This street has also been called "Little Burma". The street's signs are all uniform in specification, and the pavement is painted with color. Named Nanyang Food Street, this street is filled with atmosphere, and during Songkran (Thai New Year) every year, this community will also hold water sprinkling celebrations. It's truly a unique and distinctive community.
