Qingtiangang is located within the middle of the Datun Mountains, and is also known as "Sun Valley". The terrain here is flat, and features large stretches of grassland. During the period of Japanese rule, this area was used as grazing pastures for the many livestock raised here. The Taipei City Farmer's Association operated here as well, and even to this day many farmers still raise their cattle in this location. When you arrive at Qingtiangang, you can see several cattle leisurely wandering around the grassland. In fact, many tourists visit Qingtiangang just for the chance to see these cows! There are now two trails open at Qingtiangag: one leads toward Huangzuishan, while the other leads to Juansi Waterfall. No matter which trail you choose to take, you can relax and admire the beautiful scenery along the way. You can see cattle as you walk. These sights can easily make you forget about all of your troubles and worries, so when you come to Yangmingshan you absolutely must make a trip to Qingtiangang as well. In fact, there are many great attractions near Qingtiangang, and the indicators and facilities within Yangmingshan are all very complete. Be sure to make good use of them!
