Waimushan Lover's Lake Coastal Boulevard is located in Keelung's Zhongshan District, on Huhai Road Section 1. It is a 5 kilometer long coastal road that spans from Waimushan Fishing Port to Aoditong Village, and is also Keelung City's longest natural coastline. It was originally Anzhong Industrial Road, but was converted into a leisure and sightseeing path and named Lover's Lake Coastal Boulevard. The reefs located on the shore have been eroded away by the seawater, forming stunning sculptures and shapes as a result. Aoditong Fishing Village is by the boulevard, and Aoditong's beaches feature unique sand. In the summer, many people will swim in the water. Zhongshan Canyon Forest Trail and Wenxing Forest Trail are located by the trail parking lot. 950 meters in length, the Lover's Lake scenery platform can be encountered at the end. Nearby facilities include a small tourism fish market, swimming facilities, several viewing platforms, pavilions, public plazas and seatings. In addition, there's famous lobster mochi, and many seafood restaurants and cafes along the way. Waimushan Trail is also a sightseeing bicycle trail, and you can also view Keelung Islet from afar here, where you can catch the sight of cargo ships entering and exiting and harbor and unloading. Occasional artists perform on the streets here. Finally, this place is also a favorite for photography aficionados.
