Dawulun Fort is located at Keelung City's Anle District, on Jijin 1st Road, Lane 208, No. 19. It was used as a method of defense during the Sino-Japanese war, standing at 231 meters above sea level. It has experienced both the 19th century's Opium Wars and Sino-French War, and is a national monument nowadays. The fort is surrounded by walls on all four sides. Within the fort, there's passages, barracks, and cannon artillery. Amongst them, the cannon artilleries are divided into two per group, with a total of four groups. In addition, there's also a basement and storages, as well as observation points. Existing facilities now include the ruins of the guardhouse near the fort entrance, depot ruins, rectangular barracks, cannons, military lavatories, water storage facility, and a moat. Asidef rom the fort entrance, there's also a trail made of crushed gravel surrounding the fort, allowing you to take in the nearby sights of Keeling Islet, Waimushanao Fishing Village, Badouzi, the northern sea coast, fishing villages, Keelung City, Wanli, and more.

Take the train to TRA Keelung Station, transfer Keelung City Bus (No. 505 or 509) to Lovers Lake intersection (Lane 208, Jijin 1st Rd.) stop.
