North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area is located in New Taipei City's Shimen District, Demao Li, Xiayuankeng, No. 33-6. It covers an area of 10,496 hectares and consists of the northern coastline, Yehliu and Guanyinshan, Keelung's Waimushan, Lover's Lake, Heping Island, and other scenic spots. The area classified as North Coast includes New Taipei City's Sanzhi, Shimen, Jinshan, and Wanli Districts, while Guanyinshan National Scenic Area is divided into New Taipei City's Wugu and Bali Districts. This region is rich in tourism resources, such as coastal caves, hot springs, sea-eroded platforms, intertidal zones, ocean ecology, and more. 
The North Coast's Binhai Highway is beautiful, with many scenic spots and recreational facilities located along the way. Some well-known scenic spots and landscapes include Baishanwan (White Sand Beach), Linshanbi, Cape Fukuei Park, Shimen Cave, Jinshan, Yehliu, Feicuiwan, Li Tien-lu Hand Puppet Historical Museum, Zhuming Art Gallery, Queen's Head, Guanyinshan, Baishanwan Tourist Center, Shitoushan Park, Jinshan Old Street, Cape Fukuei Lighthouse, and Linshanbi Trail, as well as Jinshan Hot Springs and Wanli Hot Springs.
