Coca-Cola World is located at Taoyuan City's Taoyuan District, on Guishan Industrial Park, No.46. In 1886, a pharmacist in Atlanta, Georgia. invented Coca-Cola by mixing carbonated water, sugar, and other ingredients. Coca-Cola has been sold in more than 200 countries around the world, and possesses a history of more than 100 years. Many countries even have a museum at their bottling plants. In 1919, the Coca-Cola company was sold, and new products including diet Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Coca-Cola Zero, and others were launched for the market.
The factory is a red-eyed building, with its interior divided into roughly three sections: the reception area, recreational area, and exhibition area. A super-large sized Coca-Cola is located at the entrance, and the factory even has its own cute mascot: QOO, a polar bear, as well as Coca-Cola logos from around the world and international merchandise. Visitors can drink Coca-Cola for free at the reception area. The exhibition area displays commemorative materials spanning over a hundred years, ranging from Olympics to the World Cup. The recreational area showcases folk-art themed Coca-Cola bottles, and features a Coca-Cola height scale that allows you to measure your height in Coca-Cola bottles. The walls of the exhibition area also contain a "time-gallery", and records the history of Coca-Cola from 1886 to present day, and the history and development of Coca-Cola in Taiwan. Furthermore, there's also a 1950's restaurant, jukebox, neon lights, and old-fashioned refrigerators and all sorts of tableware. Furthermore, a media facility will allow one to view Coca-Cola advertisements, historical backgrounds, and Christmas advertisements. Many memorable themed merchandise are displayed, and of course, Coca-Cola related products are available and can be bought as souvenirs.
