Fonghuanggu Bird and Ecology Park is located in Nantou County's Fenghuang Village, on Renyi Road, No.1-9. It covers an area of more than 30 hectares and is situated between 650 and 800 meters above sea level. It features several bird exhibitions, bird watching trails, bird watching facilities, forest trails, historic sites, artificial waterfalls, bird gardens, and other landscapes and facilities. 
There's around 300 species of birds raised in the park. There's mountain birds, river birds, seabirds, migratory birds, cranes, pheasants, the Taiwan blue magpie, ostriches, macaws, vultures, and more. Every year, teaching demonstrations, enviromental and educational education, ecological rehabilitation programs, biodiversity conservation, and academic research are held here. Fonghuanggu Bird and Ecology Park provides visitors with a place to learn about nature education, the environment, and bird conservation. It is an ideal place to take family or children, and is a good place for both playing and learning.

Nat'l Hwy 3→ Exit at the Zhushan Interchange → Prov. Hwy 3 → County Hwy 151
Take the train to Taichung Railway Station, continue by Yuanlin Bus (bound for Chiayi) to Zhushan. Then take the Yuanlin Bus (bound for Bird Park) to the park.
