Puli Paper is located at Nantou's Puli Township, Xinan Li, Longsheng Road, No.118-2. Puli is a key papermaking town in Taiwan. During earlier years, the papermaking trade flourished, with Puli possessing at least 50 paper mills. In 1979, Mr. Chang Qingxiang established Puli Paper. It was a factory space for warehousing and printing purposes, and exported mainly paper products. Presently, the exported paper products can be found at more than 60 countries and spanning 5 continents, incluing Europe, America, Asia, Australia, and Africa. Under the guidance of the government, it was transformed in tourism and sightseeing factory. Its most famous feature is its "three-dimensional paper rolls". Colorful paper is used and rolled up, before being pushed, stuck, and pinned together to form a three dimensional figure. The hand-built museum displays the history of papermaking, all sorts of paper crafts and arts, special machines for printing, and includes both a paper DIY workshop and paper souvenir shop. There's also professional guides available for commentary.
